Prior to joining Magnum in 2006, José Antonio Marco worked for McKinsey & Co. in Spain, Portugal and United Kingdom for more than 5 years, where he served as a Manager for the Corporate Finance and Financial Institutions Practice. At McKinsey José Antonio Marco provided strategic, M&A, capital markets, risk management, value creation and operational advice to a range of clients (including private equity firms and multi-national businesses), operating in diverse sectors.

José Antonio Marco is currently Board Member of Iberwind, Iberchem, Nace and Orliman.

José Antonio Marco has an MBA in Finance from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology (Goldman Sachs Finance Award), Boston, and an MSc in Business Administration from Universidad Comercial de Deusto in Bilbao.
